Diffusing
Enhance your space with the subtle art of diffusing fragrances, where every moment is delicately scented. To ensure optimal performance and preserve its elegance, it's essential to follow simple maintenance rituals. Discover our recommended practices to keep your diffuser in perfect condition, ensuring each room is filled with your favorite scents effortlessly.
The Diffusing Ritual
for Totem
The Totem diffuser is designed around a refillable system, making it as sustainable as it is beautiful.

Pour the
fragrance
Begin by unscrewing the cap from the refill bottles. Once open, carefully pour the fragrance from the refill bottle directly into the ceramic vessel. Take your time with this step to avoid any spillage and to preserve the integrity of the scent.

Insert the
reeds
Next, take the reeds and slide them through the opening of the ceramic top. The ceramic stopper acts both as a design element and a functional piece that holds the reeds in place while allowing them to draw up the fragrance.
Once assembled, allow the reeds to soak for a full 48 hours after opening. This initial soaking period is essential — it ensures the reeds are fully saturated and ready to diffuse the fragrance evenly into the room. After that, to maintain a consistent and pleasant scent throw, simply flip the reeds one or two times per week. This small, regular gesture refreshes the diffusion and keeps your space beautifully fragranced.
The Diffusing Ritual
for Diffusers
The diffusers follow a slightly different setup, as the fragrance comes pre-filled inside the vessel.

Unscrew the
cap
Start by unscrewing the cap of the diffuser to open it up. Then, take the reeds out of their packaging — they are stored separately and need to be prepared before use.

Remove the
plastic stopper
Before inserting the reeds, remove the plastic stopper that seals the bottle. This stopper keeps the fragrance preserved during transport and storage, so it is important not to skip this step, otherwise the reeds will not be able to absorb the liquid.

Insert the
reeds
Once the stopper is removed, place the reeds through the opening of the acrylic top. The acrylic stopper holds the reeds upright and acts as the diffuser's signature design crown.
As with the Totem, allow the reeds to soak for 48 hours after opening to ensure they are fully saturated before beginning to diffuse. From then on, flipping the reeds one or two times a week is all it takes to keep the fragrance alive and the scent consistently present in your space.
