Baobab Collection wishes to offer an extraordinary experience while ensuring the greatest respect for health and the environment. We scrupulously follow applicable regulations and have reformulated all our fragrances to make them vegan. Our formulas are tested regularly and use the best sources of raw materials.
The formulas of our ranges of home fragrances, candles and diffusers are designed in France. The maceration of our home fragrances for our diffusers is carried out by leading French manufacturers who are experts in the field and work for the biggest names in French haute parfumerie, and our candles are poured by hand in our European workshops.
When it comes to our body care ranges, the cosmetic formulations were produced by a French laboratory that also ensures that our packaging, mainly in glass bottles – a particularly ethical and recyclable packaging, guarantees unparalleled product conservation. We have developed strict specifications that have made us rethink all our fragrance formulas for them all to be vegan.
In the composition of our candles, our mineral waxes are subject to numerous tests and are accredited by European legislation, recognised as being the strictest in the world. This mineral wax allows optimal combustion and, combined with the formulas of our vegan fragrances, complies with all safety standards. Numerous tests are carried out in our production workshops, where each candle is manufactured and poured manually by our artisans.
Our fragrance formulas, created by the greatest Grasse perfumers, are vegan and comply with the standards of the International Fragrance Association (IFRA). IFRA is an international organisation that limits and bans a large number of perfumery ingredients to ensure that fragrances do not harm humans or the environment.
To go beyond this standard, we have worked with our perfumers to create vegan fragrances, which means that none of the formulations of our compositions contain animal materials or have been tested on animals.
The fragrance revolution in the 19th century allowed the appearance of synthetic molecules in order to create more efficient and sophisticated olfactory compositions. These new molecules, which have never stopped evolving, are mixed with raw materials of natural origin, sublimated by synthetic materials. Our Grasse perfumers ensure the traceability of materials from a social and environmental point of view. Fragrance material research allows us to go ever further in respecting standards and adopting virtuous methods.
Our entire body wellness line has been formulated with the utmost care in a French laboratory, excluding all controversial ingredients. Combined with our gentle, moisturizing galenic formula, we have added the active ingredients of baobab fruits sourced fairly in Burkina Faso, to create a product with lipid-replenishing properties. These active ingredients are 6 times more active than other fruit ingredients. The glass packaging is designed to preserve the product in optimal conditions, avoiding the use of plastic bottles. All our formulas have been dermatologically tested.
